These photos were taken in September 2008 at A Long Expected Party. My friend Bonnie took most of the photos of Elrond in our room. She is also the one responsible for my hair. Thanks, my friend.

Here are some photos taken at The Party. They were taken by many of the people attending. as I passed my camera around. I don't know who took these first two... I think they were by Lewie.

Lord Elrond attended Naka-Kon 2009 on March 17. Lisa was kind enough to take some photos...

We took a few video clips so I could see how the cloth moves...

Here I decided to see how the cloth moves in a martialistic dance improvisation.

Peter Jackson's visualization of The Lord of the Rings woke my latent passion for costuming and inspired me to learn to sew.

Welcome to Yvette's

Nearly ten years ago I set out to teach myself to sew, so that I could create inspired costumes such as those featured on my site.

I created this site to share what I've done. It launched August 18, 2004, and has been growing ever-since.

In addition to costume construction pages, there are pages featuring portraits of the costumes being worn.

Costuming is a hobby I love documenting, but I do not do commissions, nor do I sell patterns.
